In Episode LIV, Kolsky and Bonta ignore their ordinary mandate to talk about national issues and go hard on the Bay Area sports scene (which admittedly has been popping up in the big time headlines lately). The Giants won the World Series, the 49ers are in a strange state of organizational turmoil, and a particular couch in the Inner Richmond district may very well soon be literally tossed out the window… This podcast comes to you LIVE (to tape) from Bonta Hill Studios, in between the Warriors beating the Rockets and Bernard Hopkins losing to Sergey Kovalev — you’ll love their topical commentary on sporting events that are more than 24 hours old!!
Enjoy!

In Episode LIII, Kolsky and Bonta are feeling ESPECIALLY Superfly (sorry, had to) and utilize their own mojo to discuss NFL quarterback play, followed by a long debate on the role of momentum and “it” factor in sports and specifically the MLB playoffs, with some Kobe Bean breakdown thrown in at the end… Neither Bonta nor Kolsky may be headed to the hall of fame, but they know their roles — they’re definitely NOT gonna hurt the team!!!
Enjoy!

In Episode XXVI, Kolsky and Hopkins move on quickly from a generally agreeable discussion about the rapper Drake into heavily sportsy territory on today’s program. The baseball playoffs have begun, which brings to mind the question — “If the baseball playoffs happen and nobody is watching, do they make a sound?” Not really, but seriously — nobody is watching, what gives? Then they digress into a rabbit hole of insane news on the internet following the trail of a Pirate-fan, unicorn-mask-wearing adult film star, before rounding things out with some classic examples of terrible athlete acting… If Kolsky and Hopkins score 100 points and hold the opposing team under 50% shooting, your ticket stub gets you a free Big Mac (at participating McDonalds locations)!!!
Enjoy!
